Electrical Heating Jacket
The Electrical Heating Jacket is used for the study of samples by transmission spectroscopy over a temperature range from ambient to 250°C. It is designed for use with Specac’s Advanced Liquid or Solid Transmission Cells, Spectroelectrochemical Cell, or High Pressure Liquid Cell. The cell holder is installed into an optical spectrometer sample compartment via the 3" x 2" slide mounting plate.
As this accessory also requires an appropriate sample cell for its use, the temperature range of the transmission cell should be taken into account in its use.
Water Heating Jacket
A Water Heating Jacket is available for the study of liquid and solid samples by transmission spectroscopy over a temperature range from ambient to 90°C when used in conjunction with a water recirculator. It is designed for use with Specac’s Advanced Liquid or Solid Transmission Cells, Spectroelectrochemical Cell, or High Pressure Liquid Cell. The cell holder is installed into an optical spectrometer sample compartment via the 3" x 2" slide mounting plate.
Note: this accessory also requires an appropriate sample cell, the temperature range of this transmission cell should be taken into account in its use.
